DeadRatsNYC was born on the cracked sidewalks of New York City—equal parts art project, satire, and love letter to the grit of the five boroughs. What started as snapshots of the city’s most overlooked residents (rats, both alive and less so) has evolved into a snarky gallery, a collectible culture, and a tongue-in-cheek reminder that beauty and humor can be found anywhere—even in the gutter.

We exist to document, remix, and celebrate NYC’s raw character. Not polished, not curated, not “influencer-ready”—but authentic, messy, and a little ridiculous. Every photo, print, and piece of merch carries that ethos: if you get it, you get it.
